1) Adjust your helmet band to the proper diameter using the helmet bands adjustability feature (Find Sliding Buckle). IMAGE
2) Be sure when adjusting your helmet band, that its lamp is positioned at either side of your helmets center line (See #1A and #1B).
3) The diamond shaped center of the illuminated strip should be positioned at the center line of the rear of your helmet (See # 2). Lamp Center IMAGE, Helmet Center IMAGE
4) Once band is properly adjusted and positioned according to your helmets centerline, you can now set-up self adhesive Velcro tabs. This should done by placing the 2 hook sections of Velcro on top of the 2 loop sections; once these two hook and loop pieces are connected, remove the adhesive backing and center the band according to the center points on the helmet and band. 5) Choose either a vertical or horizontal battery pack holder. After a choice is made, carefully push the male end of the side release buckle through the battery pack holsters slot; this should be worked slowly
(See #4A IMAGE 1, IMAGE 2, IMAGE 3 and #4B IMAGE 1, IMAGE 2, IMAGE 3).
6) Carefully slide battery pack into the selected holster and be sure battery pack is seated evenly at the bottom of holster.
7) Be sure that push button activation switch is facing outward (See # 3A)
8) Secure male and female buckle after battery pack and holster are positioned.
9) Using the bands adjustability feature, be prepared to adjust the tension of the helmet band once again for a firm fit.
10) Securely plug-in battery pack into lamp plug-in area. IMAGE
11) For helmets that have a smaller diameter, follow the picture below to maximize the adjustability of the buckle:

Special Notations:
** It is absolutely critical to use the black rubber protective boots on the battery pack. This battery pack MUST be Protected with this black rubber material for heat, flame, water, and impact resistance (See Top Boot #3A and Bottom Boot # 3C IMAGE)
** After battery pack is set-up please be sure to tuck any extra wire behind battery pack and band to prevent from entanglement.
** When positioning battery pack horizontally to your helmet band, position blink / constant mode preset switch (See #3B) facing down toward the brim of the helmet. This suggested position offers better water resistance to battery pack.
